Delivery
To ensure freshness of products and to minimise handling times so that orders arrive in perfect condition, orders are delivered by next day courier. Orders are packed 48hrs after receipt of orders and we only deliver on Tuesdays to Fridays. Fresh products are sent packed in insulated cool boxes with ice packs.

All orders require a signature on delivery, if you are not available to receive your order it will be left with your local APC depot and you will notified by means of a card posted through your letter box by our courier. Your order can be delivered to an alternative address such as a neighbour or delivered to your place of work if this is more convenient.
Delivery rates
Our standard delivery charge is £11.50 inclusive of VAT.
Orders containing fresh products that require our insulated cool box packaging will be delivered using our standard fresh delivery charge of £11.50 inclusive of VAT.
Our fresh produce packaging is reusable. To help us look after our environment, we encourage the reuse of these materials and prepare the packaging so that it can be returned free of charge. If you return the packaging to us and identify your order by enclosing the explanatory letter, we will credit your mail order account with £2. This packaging will be used for future deliveries from James Alexander Fine Foods Ltd.
Delivery charges are for one delivery to any single mainland United Kingdom address. This excludes Southern Ireland, Isle of Man and the Channel Islands. It may be possible to dispatch some goods overseas. Please contact us for further details. In the event of non arrival, please contact us as soon as possible.
Christmas produce delivery and rates
Christmas produce including hampers will be dispatched individually and specific additional delivery terms and conditions may apply. This information will be available with the product details.
We guarantee all hamper orders for UK delivery will arrive in time for Christmas if placed before 12th December 2008 and all other orders if placed before 17th December 2008, subject to availability.
Orders for non UK delivery must be placed before 5th December 2008 to guarantee delivery in time for Christmas.
If you require a hamper delivery on a specific week please clearly request the date you require at time of placing your order.
